Tom Shipley, President - 13 years
This summer, Tom Shipley will retire from his role as president. After thirteen years at AHA, he is the longest-tenured high school president within the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.
自2011年以来, Tom has brought robust executive leadership, fundraising, and institutional finance skills to Holy Angels, as well as a forward-leaning vision for the school. Under his leadership, AHA completed two successful campaigns that raised over $15 million and established the school’s first permanent endowment in 2014, which has grown to over $5 million today. He led the efforts to add a second turf field and dome, opened the new iCenter for STEM Education, and many other campus upgrades.
Said an alum and board member Pam Kerber, "Tom has been an incredible leader for Holy Angels for the past thirteen years with his enthusiasm, 订婚, and vision to build on the foundation set by the Sisters of St. 约瑟夫. He has made AHA all the better during his time as president!"

Gina 米查姆, Registrar - 29 years
So much of what happens behind the scenes with grading, 成绩单, academic integrity, and student records happens because of Gina. In her 29 years as registrar, 夫人. 米查姆 was constantly asking questions and demanding the highest level of integrity. She is friendly and welcoming which immediately puts students, staff, and everyone at ease.
As a colleague, 夫人. 米查姆 was the first person to offer help when someone needed assistance with a program, to proctor a test, or to show someone how to run a report in the system. She handled alumni transcript requests, confirmation of attendance for outside agencies, and a myriad of other 'duties as assigned'. Having been in her role for nearly three decades and also an AHA alum herself, there are few people at the school with the institutional knowledge of 夫人. 米查姆.
夫人. 米查姆 is also the most loyal of AHA alums who is married to a fellow Co-Star, sent all three of her children to AHA, and has a son-in-law who is also an alum. Gina’s heart, 幽默, and steady hand have been a gift to the 指导 Department, and we are very grateful to have had her as a colleague and friend. We wish you the best in your retirement, Gina!
jean - luc Roche, French teacher - 24 years
Mr. Roche spent the last 24 years at Academy of Holy Angels teaching the French language and exposing his students to the many Francophone cultures. 学生 have loved learning from such a personable and compassionate teacher, and they always looked forward to savoring his homemade crepes right before Christmas break.
每年, students participated in the French contest at the University of Minnesota where many students received medals. In fact, this year, one of his students received a perfect score for singing a song in French!
The trips overseas he took with students to France were some of the highlights for many AHA graduates. Even students who were not studying French were able to appreciate his sense of 幽默 and kind nature through his role as table tennis advisor.
jean - luc, we thank you for your dedication and commitment to making AHA a more welcoming and inclusive school community!
